(1) Seung Jae Shin, Huynh Thuy Hang, Bui Quoc Thang, Tomonari Shimoda , Hiroaki Sakamoto, Motoo Osaka, Yuji Hiramatsu, Yoshito Yamashiro* and Hiromi Yanagisawa*: Role of PAR1-Egr1 in the Initiation of Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm in Fibulin-4 deficient mice, Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, In press.
This study is a collaborative work with Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. 

(2) Lalhaba Oinam, Gopakumar Changarathil, Erna Raja, Yen Xuan Ngo, Hiroaki Tateno*, Aiko Sada*, Hiromi Yanagisawa: Glycome profiling by lectin microarray reveals dynamic glycan alterations during epidermal stem cell aging. Aging Cell, in press. 
This study is a collaborative work with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).

Transition into new degree program system in April, 2020

As of April 2020,  the university integrated eight Graduate Schools and 85 Programs into three Graduate Schools and six Degree Programs.

The six Degrees Programs include 56 specific degree programs and provide lectures and research supervision primarily by full-time faculty members of the relevant Degree Programs, covering a wide variety of disciplines.

Yoshito received a Young Faculty Member Encouragement Award

Yoshito received a Young Faculty Member Encouragement Award from Univercity of Tsukuba. That because his paper was published in an academic journal which is famous for being highly valued and rigorously peer-reviewed. Including awards for outstanding academic research, In 2018, he undertook a remarkable research activity. Congratulations!
